Job Summary

The Blanton Eye Institute in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Houston Methodist Hospital is seeking a full-time faculty member to join our Glaucoma Service with the anticipated rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College. The ideal candidate should have a strong clinical background and have passionate interest in research and/or teaching. Applicants must be board-eligible or ABO board certified and have completed a formal fellowship in glaucoma.

Primary responsibilities for this position will include clinical, educational, and research duties at the Blanton Eye Institute and our Houston Methodist System affiliated hospitals. There will be teaching and training opportunities with residents and medical students. The scope of clinical and academic practice will be determined by the Glaucoma Service and the Department Chair. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
