Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program is seeking candidates for a faculty position at our practice in Sugar Land, TX. The ideal candidate is required to have several years of experience, a CAQ in Sports Medicine, strong clinical and teaching skills, and commitment to excellent patient care. Approximately 80-90% time will be clinical, involving both primary care and sports medicine, with 10-20% as a combination of teaching, curricular development, and administrative work.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong initiative to be a part of a community based program attached academically to the Houston Methodist family medicine residency program. The Houston Methodist PCSM Fellowship in Sugar Land received accreditation in 2013 by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). We will be moving into a new state-of-the-art orthopedic and sports medicine building in 2015.
Sugar Land is in Fort Bend County and is less than 20 miles from downtown Houston. Sugar Land has been recognized as one of the most affluent and fast growing cities in Texas.
