The Department of Neurology and The Neurological Institute, Houston Methodist Hospital System are recruiting for a full-time clinical neuropsychologist to expand services at our Willowbrook Hospital. All of our neuropsychologists work with a diverse range of patient populations including dementia, stroke, TBI, neuromuscular, movement disorders, neurodegenerative and neurosurgical. Evaluations for pain management and bariatric surgery are possible, too. The successful candidate will develop hospital-wide IP/OP neuropsychological services and expand into in the local community. The position requires strong leadership skills as a vital treatment team member for neurology, neurosurgery, and other programs. The position is primarily clinical, but training of residents, neuropsychology practicum students and area post-doctoral fellows is important. Developing a research agenda is strongly encouraged with amble internal support available. Academic appointment is through Weil-Cornell Medical School.
