Responsible for accurately filling all supply orders submitted by Methodist’s network hospitals and their respective departments. Position supports the efforts of the TMH Distribution Center through routine tasks associated with order packaging, shipment and inventory control procedures. Provides support to hospital-based Par Replenishment Teams for low unit of measure supply issues and their respective schedules.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes daily equipment checklist and reports any repair issues.
Processes all supply order requests submitted by Network hospital departments.
Ensures all orders are completed by scheduled timelines and packed accordingly.
Performs assigned duties for monthly and bi-annual cycle counts/inventories in order to maintain financial integrity for all items stocked within the Distribution Center.
Maintains acceptable levels for accuracy and productivity for orders processed.
Assists receiving personnel with relative tasks associated with storage of goods and re-stocking.
Participates in daily and bi-weekly staff meetings to provide feedback on performance and results.
Provides assistance to Distribution Liaison and Inventory Logistics Specialist as needed.

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of two years experience working in a material handling environment required.
Must have direct experience in order fulfillment, receipt and storage processes. Prior experience in a healthcare product distribution or related industry preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
Must be certified or able to pass departmental test in the operation of powered material handling equipment
for adhering to OSHA workplace standards.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Must have basic knowledge of current logistic practices and procedures. Must show proficiency in operating manual and battery powered pallet jack. Above average oral and written communication skills, demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with management, clients and co-workers. Must pass a basic math and literacy test upon hire.
Must pass a basic vision test upon hire and annually thereafter.
