Responsible for receiving, distribution, and stocking of supplies and equipment for the Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. Verification and completion of receiving reports and merchandise return logs. Distribution of incoming/outgoing shipments and delivery of USPS mail. Count and replenish Par Stock in a timely and accurate manner. Validate product date sensitivity (Monthly and ongoing). Crash Cart Support: Retrieval; Replenishment; and Date Sensitivity labeling.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EF Verifies condition and quantity of items prior to accepting or signing for incoming shipments
EF Obtains delivery drivers signature and any notations for any damaged or missing items
EF Accurately initiates receiving reports and annotates as required
EF Verifies and reviews accuracy of return goods documentation and prepares monthly return log for Accounts Payable
EF Ships, receives and distributes all incoming/outgoing items in a timely manner.
EF Sort and distribute all incoming mail to appropriate departments.
EF Stock product in its assigned location
EF Move product to new locations as needed
EF Ensure specific product data information is consistent with shelf label
EF Request and affix new product labels as needed.
EF Straighten and count Par Inventory area using PDA equipment; Ensures areas are clean and neat; and, communicate notes from area to Inventory Coordinator.
EF Assist and perform Inventory Cycle and Bi-annual full Inventory Count
EF Data Integrity - consistently reviews product data is accurately identified in Material Management System (as validated by product to shelf / bin labels)
EF Eagerly accepts Cross Training to address opportunities within the Supply Chain Management Department
EF Manages Overstock ¿ In terms of placement and identification
EF Crash Cart Replenishment/Replacement; Retrieves used and deploys replenished crash carts. Replenishes items used and ensures date sensitivity of each tub used in process is labeled

High School graduate or GED equivalent
Two years experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, and delivery operations. Experience with maintaining organized distribution records. Computer skills: e-mail; Excel; and Word.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Knowledge of records maintenance in a shipping/receiving/Inventory environment;
Ability to learn and use hospital¿s materials management systems software;
Must be organized;
Ability to maintain accurate records of a paper and electronic nature in an easily retrievable manner
