Houston Methodist The Woodlands will be the eighth in the Houston Methodist system, offering The Woodlands community a full-service, acute care hospital with many of the same services as our flagship hospital in the Texas Medical Center. The $380 million campus will feature a new 187-bed, 470,000-square-foot facility.
Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, located at the intersection of TX 242 and I-45, is scheduled to open in July 2017. Construction includes a 150,000-square-foot medical building, which opened March 2016. The Medical Office Building 1 includes a Breast Care Center, Cancer Center & Infusion Center, Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Wellness Services, Outpatient Laboratory and Therapy, in addition to multi-specialty physician practices.
Responsible for performing highly specialized radiologic procedures that provide valuable medical information used in determining the medical treatment of patients. The Cath Lab Radiology Technologist II has special training and expertise in cardiovascular procedures directly related to the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory as well as Neuro Radiology and Electrophysiology.
Duties and Responsibilities
High School diploma or GED equivalency
Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved radiologic technology program and certification in radiologic technology by a nationally recognized certifying body (ARRT required); OR licensed by a state and meets requirements for registry certification.
Three years of experience as a technologist in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Neuro Radiology, and/or Electrophysiology Lab.
Must demonstrate satisfactory proficiency in all aspects of the Level II position.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, Texas Department of Health
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Ability to build and sustain interpersonal relationships
Normal operating room and interventional angiography conditions.
Exposure to blood and body fluids. Follows Infection Control Guidelines including Universal Blood and Body Fluid Precautions. Hepatitis B vaccine offered.
Variable hours to meet daily schedules and emergency call back.
