Job Summary


Under the supervision of the VP of Operations, the Project Manager is responsible for developing, leading, coordinating and analyzing identified metrics to help guide the mission, vision and strategy of Houston Methodist USA. The role will provide a wide variety of support to USA opertaions and business development including, but not limited to, coordination of data, communicating with key stakeholders, and monitoring markets, service lines, internal databases and current patient panel for future potential. The person in this role must have the ability to lead, coordinate, and complete projects with minimal supervision as well as communicate professionally and persuasively while maintaining a strong level of poise in attitude and appearance. This position will need the skills necessary to ensure the growth of USA volume growth.

PEOPLE - 20%

  1. Coordinates business development acitvities and logistics, including but not limited to remote learners, meetings, conferences, data management and development, and other information sharing activities.
  2. Works with HM staff and administrators to create, implement, and modify business development initiatives and programs. 
  3. Cultivates strong relationships with internal stake holders to ensure dashboards and goals are being shared



  1. Creates and develops presentation and data management material with goal of coordinating promotional efforts beyond the Secondary Service area of HM.
  2. Develops processes, as needed, for streamlined data management and coordination of promotional efforts.
  3. Assembles, prepares and distributes dashboards for various regions and markets.
  4. Communications and interacts in a friendly and professional demeanor with all stakeholders, clients and staff.



  1. Manages multiple projects simultaneously and in order of priority using critical thinking skills, resourcefully solves problems of varying complexity, and recommends new projects/programs and improvements in existing programs/projects.
  2. Monitors and evaluates project and program outcomes and metrics and creates departmental reports.
  3. Ensures quality and timely execution of project/program deliverables and responsible for the completion and management of projects as assigned.

 FINANCE - 25%

  1. Creates and manages dashboards for marketing, business development and operations, utilizing multiple data sources.
  2. Generates monthly reports for Vice President on program status while incorporating analysis into report making.
  3. Manages assigned projects in regards to business development initiatives.


  1. Responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of data analytics surrounding business development initiatives.
  2. Must be able to think outside the box to develop new and innovative reporting.

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or related and/or relevant field
  • Master’s degree preferred.


Ten years of experience in related discipline to include 5 years of experience managing multiple, highly complex projects that are high profile in nature.

(MBA or MHA accepted in lieu of 2 of the years of non-project experience.

MBA or MHA combined with HM Fellow satisfies all experience requirements.)

  • Strong Excel skills and data analytics experience; as well as ability to make recommendations based on data and turn data insights into actionable plans.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and balance competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
