We are honored to share that all seven of our eligible hospitals have been named top performers in the 2025 Bernard A. Birnbaum, MD, Quality Leadership Rankings by Vizient Inc., a trusted national benchmark for hospital performance.
This year, five of our hospitals ranked in the top five of their respective cohorts. Houston Methodist Hospital achieved its highest ranking to date at No. 3 and Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital earned the No. 1 spot in its cohort for the fifth consecutive year.
Vizient’s rankings measure performance across six key areas: safety, mortality, effectiveness, efficiency, patient centeredness and equity. These results reflect our deep commitment to delivering the highest-quality care and keeping patients at the center of everything we do.

- Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital — Ranked No. 2 out of 192, Large, Specialized Complex Care Medical Centers
- Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital — Ranked No. 11 out of 243, Community Hospitals
