The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Houston Methodist is actively recruiting for an Otolaryngology Sleep Surgeon to join our Academic department. Having the credentials of a sleep medicine board certification or sleep surgery fellowship is preferred. This individual will help lead the sleep surgery division of our department, help train residents, engage in research, and eventually build a sleep surgery fellowship. Currently, all aspects of sleep surgery are being performed at our institution, including hypoglossal nerve stimulation, DaVinci SP base of tongue resections, hyoid suspensions, expansion UPPPs, and maxillomandibular advancements.
We are searching for a Board-certified or Board eligible individual at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher who possess outstanding clinical acumen, surgical skill, a record of academic accomplishments and a dedication to education to join our faculty of 12 subspecialty trained otolaryngologists and 5 generalists
