Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Surgeon with 3-5 years of post-training experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing a variety of cardiovascular procedures, including complex surgical interventions. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, advancing surgical excellence, and contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of cardiovascular surgical procedures, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), aneurysm repair, valve repair/replacement, and vascular surgeries.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans.
- Ensure the highest standards of surgical safety, precision, and quality during all procedures.
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient consultations and follow-up appointments.
- Stay current on advancements in cardiovascular surgical procedures, techniques, and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Surgery.
- Valid Texas medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
Experience with minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques.
