Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Kidney Transplant Physician to join our nationally recognized Houston Methodist J.C. Walter Jr. Transplant Center, one of the leading transplant programs in the nation. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a thriving, multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in clinical care, research, and education.

  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary transplant team within Houston Methodist Hospital, ranked among the nation’s best by U.S. News & World Report

  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-transplant nephrology care and manage immunosuppression

About Our Program

The Houston Methodist J.C. Walter Jr. Transplant Center is cited as one of the nation’s most successful multi-organ transplant centers (No. 5 nationally) and among the highest-volume kidney transplant programs in the country, performing nearly 300 kidney transplants annually. Our program is known for outstanding outcomes, innovation, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution

  • Completion of Nephrology fellowship (Transplant Nephrology preferred)

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Nephrology

  • Eligible for Texas medical license
