Finance Information Data Analyst

At Houston Methodist, the Financial Information Data Analyst position is responsible for identifying appropriate information sources in order to effectively report and evaluate the accuracy of the key data elements in clinical and financial databases. This position generates reports representing statistical/financial information in graphical and other presentation forms as needed for operational and financial decision making. The Financial Information Data Analyst position is responsible for identifying errors, resolving discrepancies and making recommendations in support of routine operations of assigned financial and/or operational area.

• Working knowledge of relevant financial and non-financial systems

• Basic understanding of accounting and/or budgeting

• Ability to manage multiple shifting priorities and deadlines

• Ability to work effectively in a virtual setting utilizing remote applications as needed according to department operations
