Position Overview
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gynecologic Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care, from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques and participating in ongoing research and clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage gynecologic cancers using advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and specialized nursing staff, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Participate in clinical trials and contribute to ongoing research efforts in collaboration with the Houston Methodist Research Institute.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the treatment journey.
- Engage in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness and early detection of gynecologic cancers
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Gynecologic Oncology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, research, and education.
