Houston Methodist Hospital seeks a visionary neurovascular specialist to serve as Chief Physician of the Cerebrovascular Division within the Houston Methodist Neurological Institute in the Texas Medical Center. This premier academic leadership opportunity is ideal for a candidate with strong expertise in cerebrovascular care, clinical/translational research, and program development.
The Division Chief will lead and grow the division’s clinical, academic, and research missions, with oversight of outpatient and inpatient stroke services, the TeleStroke program, carotid duplex services, and stroke fellowship training. In partnership with department leadership, this individual will help shape strategic direction, expand clinical trials and translational research, and mentor faculty and trainees.

Qualifications:
MD or MD/PhD; board certified/eligible in Neurology; fellowship training or equivalent expertise in cerebrovascular disease; demonstrated success in clinical trials, translational research, and extramural funding; proven leadership in program development and academic medicine; commitment to education, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
