QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or related field
EXPERIENCE
- Three years’ experience in ERP systems analysis, requirement gathering and documentation
- Three years’ experience in business process analysis, system requirements, data modeling and detailed functional design
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through ongoing skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations
- Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language necessary to perform the essential functions of this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or employee safety or security
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles
- Superior documentation expertise, including experience creating Project Scope, Business Requirements, Functional and Nonfunctional Requirements, Workflows, etc.
- Strong project management skills and knowledge of project management tools
- Ability to analyze complex transactional data including creating queries and using Excel pivot tables
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to effectively presenting ideas to executive management via discussions and presentations
- Ability to resolve conflict and manage customer expectations
- Knowledge of principles, practices, procedures and configuration in assigned ERP function
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and creatively solve problems
- Extensive PC software skills including Microsoft Word/Excel/Access/Project, and other database management and reporting software
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
PEOPLE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Partners with business owners to ensure projects and service requests are on time and within scope through the application of project management methodologies.
- Initiates and maintains positive relationships with key customers and co-workers.
- Partners with stakeholders to support and evaluate change management efforts on assigned solutions.
SERVICE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Utilizes strong communication skills through active collaboration with the customers. Provides proactive updates and alerts customers to potential issues.
- Partners with customers and team members to translate business requirements into viable solutions, identifying potential benefits, and re-engineering workflow/ processes to achieve anticipated benefits.
- Proactively seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships and effectively manages client expectations.
QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Proactively coordinates regular status sessions with key customers.
- Develops detailed system test plans, executes system test cases and provides issue tracking and consolidation. Manages a coordinated User Acceptance Test (UAT) effort.
- Participates in monitoring and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with key customers.
FINANCE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinates, cost and resource estimates, and progress reports on assigned projects.
- Identifies solutions to optimize performance of existing systems and gains customer consensus on instituting changes; institutes changes when approved.
GROWTH/INNOVATION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Proactively seeks out opportunities and solutions that encourage innovation, continuous improvement and growth.
- Accountable for consistency as changes in process, tools, and overall practice is developed, ensuring a focus on continued integration and overall system benefit.
- Recommends innovative solutions for custom Information Technology to department management.
