I don't have an email address. Is one required to complete an online application?

You will need an email address in order to register. If you do not have an email address you may use your driver's license number to create one. (Example: 12345678@tmhs.org). Please note that this is not an actual email address that you will be able to log-in to.

What happens if I forget my password?

If you have forgotten your password simply enter your email address at the login page of houstonmethodistcareers.org/ and click on "Forgot Password". Your password will be emailed to you.

What happens if I forget my password and I don't have an e-mail address?

Unfortunately, without a valid email address you will not be able to retrieve your password to access your profile. You will have to complete a new on-line application and add the jobs you are interested in to your job cart.

Who should I contact to schedule an interview?

One of our Recruiters will contact you if they determine that you are potentially a qualified candidate for the position you have applied for.

How can I check the status of my application?

You can login to the My Careers Center and select "View Jobs Responded To". This will allow you to see if the job is open, filled, canceled or on hold. Unfortunately due the high volume of job seekers the Human Resources office is unable to provide status updates. Please do not call the Human Resources office to ask about your status as due to the high volumes, we will be unable to personally answer your call.

How can I update my contact information on my application?

You can login to the My Careers Center and select "Edit Contact Information". You can also make any changes and/or updates to your application, change your email and change your password once logged in to My Careers Center.

What happens if a job becomes available that I have not applied for but am qualified for?

t is best to apply for all positions that you are interested in and meet the qualifications for. Please carefully review the job posting and the minimum required qualifications.

Will I still be considered for available positions at Houston Methodist West Hospital if I have applied for positions at other Houston Methodist locations?

It is best to apply for all positions that you are interested in and meet the qualifications for at each separate Houston Methodist location if you are interested in more than one.

If I am offered a job and I accept, are there any special requirements I have to meet before I can start work?

Yes. We will verify your work record, education and if the job you are being hired for requires a license and/or certification, they must be current and will also be verified. We will conduct a criminal records check, and you will have to satisfy an employee health assessment which includes a drug screen, tuberculosis evaluation, review of immunizations and possible administration of certain required immunizations. And you will be required to complete various on-line education modules prior to beginning employment with Houston Methodist.
