Houston Methodist is happy to share that our Community Benefits Grant Program has awarded more than $6.8 million in grants to 32 Houston-based nonprofit organizations. These organizations receiving grant support through this year’s Community Benefits Grant Program will help at least 188,000 individuals access healthcare in underserved communities throughout the Greater Houston area.

Established 30 years ago, Houston Methodist’s Community Benefits Grant Program plays a fundamental role in providing access to primary, specialty, and mental healthcare to the most underserved in Houston. Community Benefits focuses on providing high-quality, affordable healthcare services to indigent populations while ensuring health equity for racial, ethnic, and social minorities across Greater Houston.
