Houston Methodist is proud to share another pinnacle milestone. Congratulations to the Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital on celebrating 25 years of dedicated service to its community.
The Sugar Land Hospital holds a special place in Houston Methodist’s history. Sugar Land’s official opening in 1998 marked the first time our health system built a new hospital from the ground up in the Greater Houston area. Our patients of Fort Bend County needed a comprehensive medical facility, like our Texas Medical Center location, but closer to home. Today, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Houston Methodist Sugar Land as the ninth-best hospital in Texas, providing a full-service acute care facility with a wide variety of medical specialties, including cancer care, orthopedics, and heart and vascular care.
Houston Methodist wants to recognize our colleagues, clinical teams, and the entire staff at The Sugar Land Hospital. It takes a village to make a lasting impact on the health and well-being of our Greater Houston community. Our ability to provide the best – and safest – clinical care at The Sugar Land Hospital would not have been possible without our dedicated staff and teams of leaders in medicine, always putting the patient first. Today, we celebrate you. Thank you for a successful 25 years at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital.
