Six Houston Methodist hospitals have earned national recognition from Newsweek as part of its America’s Best-in-State Hospitals 2027 rankings. The annual ranking recognizes hospitals that stand out for delivering high-quality care and exceptional patient experiences.
Houston Methodist Hospital earned the No. 1 ranking in Texas, leading six Houston Methodist hospitals recognized across the state:
• No. 1 – Houston Methodist Hospital
• No. 6 – Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital
• No. 14 – Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital
• No. 27 – Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital
• No. 37 – Houston Methodist West Hospital
• No. 53 – Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital
Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital, Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital and Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital also received Newsweek’s Patient Experience Award, recognizing hospitals distinguished for patient experience in the 2027 rankings. The rankings are based on hospital quality metrics, recommendations from medical professionals, patient experience data and the implementation of patient-reported outcome measures, which help capture health outcomes from the patient’s perspective.
