Support Services Jobs in Houston Methodist Academic Institute at Houston Methodist can include:

  • Audio Visual Specialist: This team member is responsible for facilitating Houston Methodist (HM) audio/visual (a/v) needs through equipment and operation requests. He/she will assist with end-user training as requested as well as assist with equipment management through check-out, inventory, maintenance and repairs.
  • Cook: This team member is responsible for ensuring a high volume/high quality food service setup/assembly for the customer (patients, staff and visitors) that is presented and served within the set standards. He/she is responsible for both hot and cold food production including seasoning, preparing, and cooking of various meats, vegetables, soups and sauces and on measuring and following recipes as well as garnishing and packaging.
  • Courier: This team member is responsible for the transportation of medications, laboratory specimens, medical records, patient belongings, and other misc. He/she is also responsible for accurately sorting, organizing, and transporting specimens and medications between various pharmacy/laboratory locations, nursing units, and physician offices.
